Congratulations on your pregnancy or the birth of your baby!

If you are looking at my site I am assuming you are looking for a birth or postnatal Doula, well, you have come to the right place!

An ideal situation is for a woman to be able to give birth in a safe quiet place of her choosing, with privacy and as few disturbances as possible. If that does not turn out to be the case I will support and reassure you to achieve the best possible outcome. I realise that there is more to birth than just 'getting the baby out' and the experience of a birth affects both the mother and child's future lives. I am very flexible and client led and will endeavour to meet your needs wherever possible, resulting in a satisfying and positive experience.

As a postnatal Doula I will help support you at home with your new baby. I can be there to help answer your questions (in person or over the phone) and empower you to be the mother/ parents that you want to be. I will help you establish feeding your baby (breast or bottle) and will assist you as you learn to care for your baby. A Postnatal Doula enables you to stop and rest when you need to. She can help stem your eager visitors and most importantly mother the mother!
